How to get to kaduna

Explore your new surroundings

Kaduna can be reached by air through the Kaduna Airport. From Abuja by road through the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway, by Lagos through interconnecting highways across several states starting from the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to Shagamu-Benin Expressway on to the Okene-Lokoja Road and A2 onwards into Kaduna.

Public Transportation within Kaduna Town

Public transport can be accessed along all public roads within the city, with bus parks at every district within the town. The different modes of transportation available are:

Buses which ply all major roads, linking all major settlements and districts.

Motorcycles and tricycles which access minor roads and streets.

Cabs are available for hire at motor and parks.

Getting around Kaduna

Kawo Park: Major bus stop for intra-city transport, as well as for moving passengers to Zaria, Kano and further North of the Country.

This is the central hub for transportation within the city. It also allows transportation of passengers to Zaria and Kano.

Command Park: Transport hub for Kaduna-Abuja trips

Abuja Junction: Transport hub for Kaduna-Abuja trips

Television Garage: Major Transport hub for Kaduna-Plateau State, Kaduna-Southern Nigeria

Mando Park: Major Transport hub for trips out of Kaduna to all parts of the country.

NURTW Park, Sabo: Transport hub for movements from Kaduna town to Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Bauchi.

RAILWAY TRANSPORT SYSTEM The Kaduna-Abuja train service provides four trips daily, all week round. The train station accessible from Kaduna town is located in Rigasa, which takes passengers all the way to Kubwa and Idu stations in Abuja.
